1. NEW BRIGHTON STATE BEACHCamping Map

Developed campsites, 4 miles south of Santa Cruz on Highway 1. Reservations a must, especially during the summer!

2. SEACLIFF STATE BEACH

Trailer sites only. 5 miles south of Santa Cruz on Highway 1. Reservations a must!

3. MANRESA UPLANDS STATE BEACH

Tents only, walk-in camping. 64 sites located 12 miles south of Santa Cruz. From Highway 1 take San Andreas Road to Sandollar to Manresa Beach Road near the town of La Selva Beach.

4. SANTA CRUZ-KOA (Kampgrounds-of-America)

Privately Owned. RV/Tents/Cabins. Located 13 miles south of Santa Cruz on San Andreas Road. 250 RV sites to 40 feet full hookups: 15 tent sites: 50 cabin sites with electricity, bring your own linens.

5. SUNSET STATE BEACH

Developed campsites. 16 miles south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1. Take Riverside Drive turnoff (Highway 129). Reservations a must!

6. MOSS LANDING RV PARK

Clean, full hookups for all sized RV's. TV cable to each site, telephone service available at each site. 7905 Sandholdt Road, Moss Landing 95039.

7. MARINA DUNES RV PARK

Privately owned. 35 sites, hookups, laundry. West of Highway 1 between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Take Reservation Road in Marina, turn right on Dunes Drive.

8. LAGUNA SECA RECREATION AREA - Nine miles east on Highway 68.
Information about camping at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Premier and Reserved sites can only be reserved by calling the Mazda Raceway ticket office at (800) 327-7322. The Grand Prix, Chaparral, and Can-Am Circle Campgrounds are maintained year round by Monterey County for tourist use. Call (831) 647-7799 for information about obtaining a campsite during non-race weekends.

9. VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

40 primitive campsites. RVs to 21 feet. No hook-ups. Take Highway 68 West to Skyline Forest Drive, turn right, turn left at stop sign. Drive to the bottom of the hill.

10. SADDLE MOUNTAIN

Privately owned. Tent and trailer sites, hook-ups, and showers. Take Carmel Valley Road four miles to Shulte Road, turn right. Follow to the end of the road. (Closed during the winter).

11. CARMEL-BY-THE-RIVER RV PARK

12. ANDREW MOLERA STATE PARK

Primitive camping, hike and bike only. Park your vehicle in the lot and walk out to the trail camp. 21 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1.

13. FERNWOOD CAMPGROUND

Privately owned. 24 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1. 65 sites (38 hook-ups). Hot showers, general store, burger bar, gasoline.

14. BIG SUR CAMPGROUNDS AND CABINS

Privately owned. 26 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1. Ninety sites (30 hook-ups). Hot showers, playground, and recreation on the river.

16. PFEIFFER BIG SUR STATE PARK

53 miles south of Carmel, 39 miles north of San Simeon on Highway 1. 43 tent and trailer sites, 15' trailer max. and 21' motorhome max., showers, grocery.

19. KIRK CREEK - LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST

35 miles north of San Simeon on Highway 1. 33 trailer and tent sites. (16 foot trailer maximum). Bike and hiker sites.

20. PLASKET CREEK - LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST
